Silvaze: A Life Of Ups And Downs. Chapter 26

Silver watched as the sun slowly appeared over the horizon. It had been many hours since he'd been thrown out, he still didn't know where to go or what to do. The air was cold and the wind blew gently though his fur, it was no longer snowing but it was still rather chilly outside.
"I still don't understand what's going on." He said to himself. "What did I ever to to deserve this." He sighed. He stood up and looked around, it was quite and peaceful, there was no sign of life anywhere, but then again it was still very early in the morning.
Hmm..I wonder where I should go, to the city...no..what'll Blaze think....then where do I go? Silver thought as he walked down the path way. He didn't know where he was going. After a while he decided it was probably best if he did tell Blaze what had happened, as he she might be able to help him, he was just worried about what she'd think when he did tell her.

After a while, Silver came to the edge of the city, as he walked though the streets, it suddenly became very crowded, not that it surprised him, it may have been cold and icy but that didn't stop the city people from running around to get where they wanted to go. Silver flew up out of the way with his telekinesis and looked around.
The palace is over there, but its only half past seven according to the clock tower, I doubt Blaze will be awake yet..Its way to early. He thought. But before he could do anything else, he heard a familiar voice calling his name.
"Hay Silver!" Yelled a female voice, Silver knew who it was, he turned around and saw Blaze standing on the roof of one the tower blocks.
"Blaze.." Silver said confused. He flew over to her and stood in front of her.
"Hay, what you doing here, you do know its only twenty five to eight right?" Blaze smiled
"Course I do, why wouldn't I...but come to think of it, why are you on the top of an office block."
"Actually this is a block of flats, but anyway, I'm up here 'cos it keeps me away from the crowds, its fun really, nice view of the city from up here."
"So you just jump around roof tops?" He asked, rather confused.
"Well..yeah..I guess." She smiled. "Hey..are you all right..you look cold."
"I am cold..."
"Why don't you have a jacket on then?"
"I-I dunno...look I need to tell you something but I don't know how to say it 'cos I'm confused and I'm cold, I was up all night and I'm tired and irritated and...." Silver said quickly, trying to think of a way to tell Blaze what had happened.
"Slow down, I can't understand a word your saying, look, what's wrong?" Blaze asked.
"I-I--Oh I dunno how to say this---'Cos no matter how I put it your gonna think I'm just joking around...."
"Silver..listen to me..I know something's wrong, I won't think your messing around because I trust you, please, just tell me the truth."
"O-Ok...You see...last night...about half an hour after I got home...my dad..well..he kicked me out." Silver said quitely.
"Huh..."
"My dad kicked me out, I got no where to go....I dunno what to do....I'm just so confused.."
"You got kicked out, but that can't be right. Why would he do that?"
"I-I dunno, but he did and theres not allot I can do about it, which is why I came to find you here."
"You'll be OK. Do you want to come over to my place, maybe you can stay with me for a little while, or at least, until you find somewhere else to go."
"No..I mean yes I'd love to stay with you..I'm just not all that keen on going to another foster family...I know not all people who adopt kids are the same as who I ended up with, but I don't know how I'd cope..."
"You'll be fine, I'm sure if you did end up going to another foster family they wouldn't be that bad."
"Your probably right, you usually are..I'm just so confused."
"I don't blame you for being a bit confused, I would be to if I where in your position." Blaze said. "Anyway, lets get going, my house isn't far." Blaze smiled. She placed her hands in his and kissed him gently on the cheek. Silver smiled, blushing slightly.
"All right then, lets go." Silver smiled. Blaze let go of his hand and ran ahead, Silver followed.

After a few minutes they made it back to the palace. Blaze rummaged though her pockets and pulled out her house keys, as she opened the door, she saw Sophia standing there, and she didn't look very happy.
"Hi Sophie." Blaze smiled.
"Hi." Sophia replied.
"What's wrong?" Blaze asked.
"I'm fine, I was just wondering where you where that's all, why didn't you tell us you where going out?"
"I'm sorry, I thought I did, I'm sure I did, no matter, look--" Blaze said before being interrupted.
"No, what if something had happened to you, we wouldn't know where you were." Sophia said sternly.
"Look Sophie, let me speak, its important."
"Ok, what is it."
"You see, while I was out, I found Silver." Blaze said, Sophia glanced over her sister's shoulder and saw Silver standing behind her shivering in the cold.
"Yeah and?" Sophia said, rather confused.
"Well, he said that his dad kicked him out last night, he doesn't have anywhere to go and I said that, maybe, he could stay here until he finds somewhere to stay." Blaze said. Sophia could tell that her sister was worried about her friend, but wasn't sure what her dad would think if she just let Silver stay.
"I dunno Blaze, It depends what dad says, after all its his house, you'll have to talk with him." Sophia smiled
"Ok, but can we at least come in." Blaze smiled. Sophia smiled and moved out the way so that Silver and Blaze could in, they sat in the living room and waited for Samson to come downstairs. Both hoping that he'd let him stay.
